French Programs
The French Beginners program is designed for French as second language learners and students who had recently enrolled in the French immersion program. The primary focus of teaching is on speaking, pronunciation, spelling, and reading of simple texts. Every class has a different theme that ranges from number, color, restaurant, to interests and universe. The learning objective is to enable students to conduct everyday conversations in French, understand the fundamentals of French grammar, independently read short articles in French. Students can also expect to produce some simple sentences in French at the end of the program. Check out the following video for snapshot of our class.

The French Intermediate program is designed for students who have previously been exposed to French for at least three years. The focus is on the right use of French grammar in writing. Teachers utilize reading comprehension questions, sentence completion, grammar games such as “Find the Mistakes”, and short videos to reinforce the understanding and application of grammar in writing. Students thrive in individual and group activities led by the teacher and benefit from the timely feedback given by the teacher during the in-class activities. By the end of the program, students can expect to develop a sound understanding of French grammar and write grammatically error-free paragraphs.
